Clean & Serene Donates House Cleaning Services to Cancer Patients

LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Huntington, WV – April 28, 2025 – Clean & Serene has partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit organization that provides free home cleanings to cancer patients across the United States and Canada. Owner Christina Blake is deeply committed to community service and is expanding her impact by bringing comfort and care to those navigating cancer treatment.
“I started Clean & Serene because cleaning has always brought me joy,” shared Blake. “For me, it’s more than a chore—it’s a grounding, peaceful experience that helps create clarity and calm. I wanted to share that sense of serenity with others, especially those who need it most. That’s why partnering with Cleaning for a Reason is so deeply meaningful to me. It allows me to give back in a personal and heartfelt way, using my skills to support individuals and families facing the challenges of cancer treatment. It’s an honor to step into their lives, even briefly, and offer not just a clean home but a sense of relief and care during an incredibly difficult time.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Clean & Serene proudly donates house cleaning services to two cancer patients each month for two consecutive months. Cancer patients—of any age, gender, or type of cancer—can learn more and apply for free house cleaning services at cleaningforareason.org.
Clean & Serene serves cancer patients residing in Huntington, West Virginia, and within approximately a 25-mile radius, including the surrounding communities of Barboursville, Ona, Milton, Culloden, Hurricane, Lesage, Lavalette, Ceredo, and Kenova.
Their reach also extends across state lines to support patients in Proctorville, South Point, and Chesapeake, Ohio, as well as Ashland, Catlettsburg, Flatwoods, Rush, Russell, and Worthington, Kentucky.
