CHRIStal Clean Donates Non-Toxic Cleaning to Cancer Patients

Mukwonago, WI – October 27, 2020 – A local house cleaning company continues to make a difference for cancer patients in the area. CHRIStal Clean has been partnered for five years with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit serving cancer patients through free house cleaning. Understanding that a clean home is a healthy home, owner Chris Steffes remains committed to helping cancer patients and their families.
“Our team truly loves cleaning for our cancer patients,” said Steffes. “It gives us all a sense of joy, accomplishment, and satisfaction knowing we have provided a service that many have difficulty doing, especially when they struggle with complications from cancer treatment. Sometimes we are even just there to lend an ear. Listening and doing what we do best is the least we can do for those in need in our community.”
Since 2015, CHRIStal Clean has supported 37 cancer patients with a total donated value of $15,300 in cleanings. In partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, CHRIStal Clean assists cancer patients by cleaning four homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Waukesha County and East Troy, Palmyra, Waterford, and Burlington.
Said Steffes, “During these unprecedented times, CHRIStal Clean has done extensive training on cleaning and sanitizing for COVID-19. Keeping a house clean, healthy, and safe is more important now than ever before. Following CDC guidelines, we are wearing masks and gloves and social distancing when cleaning in a home.”
