Las Vegas, NV – January 3, 2025 – Cleaning for a Reason, an ISSA Charity dedicated to providing free house cleanings to cancer patients, took center stage during the annual Residential Cleaning Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, November 21, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. This celebration was held in conjunction with the ISSA Show North America, highlighting the transformative power of community-driven impact.
The event was marked by gratitude as Debbie Sardone, Cleaning for a Reason’s founder, extended heartfelt thanks to the cleaning companies, volunteers, and supporters who have propelled this mission to unprecedented heights. Over the past 18 years, Cleaning for a Reason and its network of more than 1,400 cleaning partners across the United States and Canada have provided over $20 million in free house cleanings, touching the lives of more than 58,000 cancer patients.

“This mission is about more than cleaning homes; it’s about offering hope and comfort to families facing cancer,” said Debbie Sardone, owner of Buckets & Bows Maid Service and Top Partner for 2023. Her company set a historical record, serving 64 cancer patients in one year. Sardone added, “I am proud of my team, especially Megan Duncan, who leads our sales team and who spearheads our volunteer initiatives.”
