Cancer Patients Can Call on Nifty Pro Cleaner

Silver Spring, MD – March 9, 2021 – Nifty Pro Cleaner, LLC has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients. Owner and Operations Manager Christy Burke understands the value of a clean environment for cancer patients at a time when they may not be able to clean for themselves or afford a service.
“We’re excited to partner with Cleaning for a Reason to provide a quality service to those individuals and families who otherwise are not afforded the time to invest and/or the privilege of a quality home cleaning service,” said Burke.
“We are honored to give back to our community by helping cancer patients, as we understand the difficulties and the importance of maintaining a safe and healthy environment when you are immune-compromised, especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. We hope, through our services, to provide a sense of relief, putting the patients at ease.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Nifty Pro Cleaner supports two homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in the metro areas of the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia).
Said Burke, “During this COVID-19 pandemic, we are diligently following CDC guidelines and protocol for preventing the spread of viruses, including use of EPA-approved cleaners and disinfectants. Our cleaning teams wear disposable gloves, shoe covers, and masks and are checking their temperatures before the start of each day. At the end of each day, the towels are laundered and sanitized at a professional facility and our cleaning equipment is also cleaned and sanitized.”
