Bella Pulizia Pays It Forward to Cancer Patients Through Home Cleaning

Mesa, AZ – July 6, 2021 – Bella Pulizia has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients throughout the United States and Canada. Owner Misty Hamby understands how a cancer diagnosis can affect a person and the importance of a clean home when battling the disease.

“I am a breast cancer survivor,” said Hamby. “I have been in remission for two years. I had two ladies come clean for me while I was ill. It was so much help to me, being a single mom with three kids. I know the fatigue and emotional weariness that comes with cancer. I know what it means to be immune compromised and in need of a clean, germ-free home. It’s why I wanted to partner with Cleaning for a Reason and one of the reasons I went back to my cleaning roots. I’m thrilled to pay it forward to other cancer patients in need.” |
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Bella Pulizia supports two cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Mesa, Chandler, Queen Creek, Tempe, and Apache Junction.

Established in 2020, Bella Pulizia is a small, family-owned business that provides residential and commercial cleaning services. Their motto is, “Beautified at the cleanest level!” Owner Misty Hamby started the company after being laid off from a job during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Said Hamby, “After sitting at home for two months and finishing all my home projects, I knew I wanted to do something to make a difference. Cleaning is in my blood as both my mother and grandmother have successful cleaning companies that I have worked for. I truly love cleaning. Each job is personal to me. I like to connect with each client and exceed expectations of what is needed.”
