NATIONAL CLEANING FOR A REASON WEEK, APRIL 18-24
Sag Harbor, NY – April 24, 2020 – C’s Home & Office Management, Inc. has been donating cleaning services to local cancer patients for the past 12 years through their partnership with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason. Since 2008, C’s Home & Office Management has helped a total of 33 cancer patients with a donated value of $8,964 in cleanings.
Owners Cynthia and Chris Capalbo want to bring heightened awareness of the cause to the area during Cleaning for a Reason Week, April 18-24. The goal is to help more households battling any type of cancer to receive the gift of a clean home.
“I became interested in helping cancer patients when my mother was battling cancer in Florida,” said Cynthia Capalbo. “I had to hire a cleaning lady to help her. I saw firsthand the impact the service had on my mother’s wellbeing. After partnering with Cleaning for A Reason in 2008, two of our office staff have since survived breast cancer as well as many friends and associates. We are all committed to helping many more cancer patients and their families in the years to come.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, C’s Home & Office Management cleans two homes per month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in North Fork and South Fork Long Island.
Chris Capalbo emphasized, “During this unprecedented COVID-19 crisis, it is important that we do what we can for our community. As an essential cleaning business, we are helping to make homes and businesses clean, healthy, and safe for our clients, including immuno-compromised cancer patients. Our company follows CDC protocols of wearing face masks, gloves, and booties; washing hands between tasks; using EPA approved products; and practicing social distancing when cleaning.”
