LOCAL CLEANING COMPANY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Copiague, NY – April 26, 2023 – Chores & More, LLC has teamed up with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit providing free house cleaning to cancer patients. As best friends and co-owners of Chores & More, Holly Silva and Laura Natoli have always had a strong commitment to community service and helping those in need. But their partnership with Cleaning for a Reason holds a special place in their hearts, as both have been personally affected by cancer in their families.
“We are honored to partner with Cleaning for a Reason,” said Silva. “As cancer has affected both Laura and me personally, we know firsthand how difficult it can be to carry on with daily tasks after a cancer diagnosis. We are committed to helping take the burden of cleaning off the shoulders of cancer patients and their families, so they can focus on health and healing and spending time together. We hope our support provides both practical and emotional relief and a sense of community during a challenging time.”
Through partnership with Cleaning for a Reason, Chores & More supports two cancer patients homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This is an ongoing service to cancer patients residing in Copiague and the surrounding towns of Amityville, Massapequa, Seaford, Babylon, West Babylon, Lindenhurst, and Farmingdale.
“Making a real difference in the lives of cancer patients and continuing to give back to our community is our top priority,” said co-owner Natoli. “In addition to donating services, we are also fundraising to support Cleaning for a Reason and hope to raise $2,000 to help more cancer patients needing support.
