MAIDS AND MOORE CELEBRATING CLEANING FOR A REASON WEEK, APRIL 18-24

Greater Austin, Temple, and Northern Houston, Texas – April 18, 2017 – Maids and Moore Cleaning Services is a family-owned and operated cleaning company for over 25 years that teamed up in 2008 with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit serving women with cancer. In their nine-year partnership, Maids and Moore has donated house cleaning to 50 women in need.

“In 2008, I discovered that Cleaning For A Reason is a national organization that lessens the already heavy burden of women battling cancer,” stated owner Holly Moore. “We were thrilled to partner at that time. The patients need to focus on their health, not on cleaning their homes. These women are in need of assistance. Our company is honored to help make a difference by giving the gift of a clean home.”

Maids and Moore is celebrating Cleaning For A Reason Week, April 18-24, to help raise awareness and funds to reach more women in need. Maids and Moore helps women battling cancer by cleaning two homes per month in each of the three areas they serve for four consecutive months at no charge. The company’s service areas are Travis, Montgomery, and Bell and Coryell Counties. Insured and bonded, Maids and Moore specializes in residential, commercial, carpet, and window cleanings. All of the thoroughly trained cleaning technicians adhere to the company’s philosophy of 100 percent customer satisfaction. In partnership with maid services throughout the United States and Canada, Cleaning For A Reason is celebrating 11 years of dedicated service to women battling cancer by Making A Difference One Home At A Time™. Delores, Our heart goes out to your daughter and this difficult season. Women battling cancer can apply for free house cleaning at http://www.cleaningforareason.org/patients. If there’s an available maid service with an opening, she will then be asked to have her Dr. fax in a note stating that she is undergoing cancer treatment. Once approved and matched, she would then receive 4 general house cleanings, that’s one cleaning per month up to 4 months.

Please note though that this is not a guaranteed service and depends on the availability of a local maid service partner WITH an opening. We are ZIP CODE and CAPACITY DRIVEN. If we cannot match a patient with a service at the time of application, it’s still good to have an application on file. We sign up new maid services daily and existing maid service partners, if full (i.e., at capacity with patient load at the time that a patient applies), do open up as well.

Above all, we wish her wellness.
