How Does It Work?  Three Easy Steps:

1.  See if there is a participating maid service in your area please enter your zip code in the box on this webpage: http://cleaningforareason.org/locateservice.php  and hit "Go".

If there is a maid service in your area 2. the next step for you to take is to fax or mail us a doctor's note verifying you are a woman currently undergoing treatment for cancer.  Please fax that note to:  (972) 767-5198 or you may mail it to:

Once we receive your doctor's note, we will contact the participating maid service in your zip code area to arrange service for you.  Once the maid service confirms they do service your zip code 3. we will contact you about setting up your first cleaning.

Please check the zip code page to insure we have a maid service in your area.  We will be in touch after we have received a confirmation from your doctor or hospice.   A doctor’s note is required to complete your application and can be faxed to (972) 767-5198 or electronically transmitted to patientadvocate@cleaningforareason.org.  
 
Once accepted into our program you will receive one cleaning per month for four consecutive months.  Please be advised this is classified as a "general cleaning", not a "deep clean" or "spring clean".  Each maid service volunteers their time and are not paid for any cleanings in our program.  Their employees are not volunteers, and will be paid for their work by the maid service owner.

If there is no participating maid service in your area at this time, please check the web site zip code page every few months as we are adding new maid services to our program every day!  We apologize in advance if we do not have a maid service in your area at this time.
